Currently leading the Firmware and Software teams at MAC Formula Electric FSAE.

Previously

Embedded SWE Intern at Atomic Semi (Summer 2025)

  • Brought up several semiconductor manufacturing machines, from PCB validation to C firmware to gRPC API integration.

  • Defined Protobuf interfaces for machine-to-machine and machine-to-app communication.

  • Designed and implemented low-level C libraries for STM32 flash memory management, firmware alerts, watchdog timeouts and RTOS-based CAN transmission.

  • Wrote multithreaded Rust apps to control each machine. Implemented an events-based backend to cleanly support UI and API commands.

Metrology Intern at Northern Digital Inc. (2023 - 2024)

  • Rapidly prototyped embedded circuits and experiment setups to isolate errors in sub-millimeter optical tracking systems.

  • Developed Python packages to interface third-party sensors and data formats.

  • Created new computer vision algorithms for more accurate marker tracking.

Instrumentation Intern at Langtree Controls (Summer 2022)

Robotics Research Assistant at McMaster University (Summer 2021)
